02.09.2010: Centrosolar continues with its drive for international expansion: in establishing the new UK subsidiary, the company has now set up its ninth branch outside Germany. The UK branch will be based near London and will be run by Simon Gerrard. 33-year-old Gerrard has been working in the solar industry for seven years, latterly as head of Domestic Sales for one of the leading British solar companies. Now
that attractive feed-in tariffs are available in the UK, Centrosolar detects increased potential for photovoltaic systems on private houses and commercial roofs.
Alongside its integrated packages comprising crystalline high-performance modules and all the components that are needed to operate a system, it supplies lighter thin-film systems that are especially suitable for roofs with low load reserves.
